Didnt much care for the older version of your app but after I noticed my iPad app automatically updated, I checked it out. Loved it! It had more up to date news on the DFW area & was a lot more organized! Very nicely done! A+
Quick and easy way to view the news. On the weekends there are very little updates, which at times is disappointing.
Not a bad local app. It seems to close down over the weekend.
Having trouble with showing "future" activity. This has been since last WAPP update. Otherwise, I enjoy FOX 4 NEWS. Stories could be updated faster than they are. I also watch the TV broadcast. Love Lauren and Tim and the whole team. Love Jenn and Jennifer, too!
A great way to stay tune and up to date with whats going on in the area!
LOVE this App! Love being able to watch PRECIOUS Clarice Tinsley and the rest of the channel 4 gang Live wherever I am. There is a bit of delay I noticed when watching the app while sitting in front of the TV but Im sure that is to be expected. As of right now, this app puts the other Dallas television stations to shame!
Some bad moments
The live feed on the news used to be so much better. Now theres the same blaring commercial every time theres a break. It lags and is so long it causes me to miss the beginning of the next news segment. I realize youre trying to make money but does the ad have to be SO LOUD and longer than the break as well? Please change it back.
The app is unreliable as its not always up to date on the current story.
As soon as I open an article containing a video clip, a video ad will auto-play. Not cool. At all. Im not always in a place where playing a video, commercial or not, is appropriate. I should be able to read a summary of the article without starting the video. Guess I wont be opening those stories.
At least once per week, this program will NOT bring up the news. It will not down load or buffer or whatever. I have deleted the program and reinstalled it and usually to no avail. But then in a couple of days the app will work. You cannot even communicate with some tech person when this happens.
This probably a programming issue and not the apps fault, but could you get more/different ads? I am not encouraged to buy Farmers Insurance.
On the plus side I find it very comforting to hear local news when Im in a different part of the country. I do not see the same effort made by the other local channels.
Better than the WAPP but still not as good as other apps for local news out there. Until they revamp this almost entirely - or entirely since they cant seem to get it right - and fix the continual issues, its not worth putting on your phone or iPad.
There is a lack of support for updating the app & news. Recently, this app failed to load and an error kept saying this app was unstable for almost a full day. On weekends, there are very few news updates. Also, please take old news articles off the app. Other news stations have more up to date news articles.
